Over twenty years ago, back when I was just getting started in animation I came up with this idea about anthro-pomorphic wrestlers that were bred to fight for a corrupt corporation in a dystopian future. It was my love letter to pro-wrestling, fighting video games like Tekken, and classic anime. Cut to the present and something reignited the fire in me to re-explore my creation. I was thrilled to storyboard on The Long Halloween for Warner Bros. Batman is one of my all time favs, and this is one of his best stories.

One of the many times I got to board for producer Brandon Vietti. He's the guy that recommended me for my first directing job on The Batman and we've been friends ever since. Always learn a lot working with this guy.

Directed on all seasons of this and Transformers: Prime. Here is a sample from one of the times I got to board. This was back before Storyboard Pro so no fancy bells and whistles or motion layer. I miss those old photoshop brushes though. I love Transformers and never get tired of going back to that well.

Excerpts from my favorite episode I directed from season 2, and there were a lot of good ones. A satire that somehow still managed to be a love letter to one of my favorite characters.
